The WorkPLAN Enterprise system enables the collection of real time data. For each task, you are able to record the actual time spent by machines and employees.
This can be done by keying in data manually or by using touch screens or bar codes.
When using touch screens your employees are able to record time and attendance, and when they start or finish any task. The employee can select a “resource” - a machine or workstation for example – and view all tasks that can be completed by that resource, or the tasks assigned to it within the current schedule.
At any time, the production manager can open the “Workshop View” screen in which he can see, in real time, which task is running on each machine for all departments.
With the WorkPLAN Enterprise system you can also print bar codes and use bar code readers to record presence and time spent on tasks. You can even import completed time directly from the machines by using an agent that reads XML files.
The manager can set up employees time & attendance “counters & rules” for overtime payment, holidays etc., and this information can pass into your payroll system via a direct interface.
